Sonja Forster (Roux)
Sonja grew up surrounded by the open skies and vibrant landscapes of a South African farm, now calling Virginia, USA, her home. Her early connection with nature instilled a keen eye for detail and a profound appreciation for the natural world, both of which breathe life into her art. From a young age, Sonja showed a passion for drawing, dedicating herself to honing her skills through years of practice and exploration.
Though she holds a degree in Nature Conservation, Sonja chose to follow her heart into a career in the arts. Her work beautifully reflects her love of nature, which she draws on as a central source of inspiration.
